Complete Day-by-Day Kashmir Itinerary

MEAL: BREAKFAST + DINNER NIGHT STAY: GULMARG HOTEL
  • Welcome to Kashmir. The driver will be at the airport with your name placard in his hand, waiting for you.
  • Afterwards, he will take you to the slopes where you can have a day excursion and acclimation. Meet the trainer and he will guide you with all the equipment like skis and poles. Apart from that, he will guide you about the clothing to be used on the slopes for the next 6 days.
  • The instructor will also brief you about the course schedule for the next 6 days and afterwards proceed towards the warm and cosy accommodation. Later, you can enjoy the lavish meals. Now it is the time to say Good night!

  • As you come to the slopes refreshed. We will revise all the basics of the Skiing. Today our focus will be on the following skills on the slope of Highland Park and 85:
  • 1. Gliding
  • 2. Side Stepping
  • 3. Snow Plough
  • 4. Snow Turns — On the slope of Highland Park and 85.

  • Now coming towards the intermediate part. Today we will learn how to change the directions rapidly by shifting the weight from one ski to the another, and also how to use the inside and outside edges of the Ski.
  • Short Turns: Known technically as carving turns. In this technique we shift the weight and the pressure from one ski to another and change the direction rapidly.
  • Long Turns: Also known as giant cruising turn. In this technique we shift the weight towards the inner edges of the ski resulting in the smoother and gradual change in the direction.

  • Alright, New day new lesson! We have the control over the balance and turns. Now we will be moving step further towards the precise turns, stability, timing and direction control with balance.
  • Carving Technique: This fundamental technique is crucial for the slopes on the higher altitudes. In this technique ski edges are grooved into the snow allowing the ski to follow the curved path. This is possible on the well groomed slopes creating clean and precise turns.

  • Stepping ahead into the world of the skiing. We are going for pole plant from the elevation of 2600 meter. This is one of the advanced techniques to ski with the rhythms in precision to timing and stability.
  • In pole plant we use the pole at some specific points while turning resulting in enhancing the stability and rhythms.
  • Direction control is also the outcome of the technique.
MEAL: BREAKFAST + DINNER NIGHT STAY: SRINAGAR HOTEL
  • Today, mesmerise yourself with the rhythms of Skiing, you can use all your skills together from an elevation of 4000 metres.
  • This morning we will take the Gondola first phase in the morning and proceed towards the chair car.
  • Set the record of your own adventure. Use all the techniques: 1. Gliding | 2. Side Stepping | 3. Snow Plough | 4. Snow Plough Turns | 5. Short Turns | 6. Long Turns | 7. Carving | 8. Pole Plant.
  • This day you can do 2-3 runs on the beaten slopes of the Apharwat.
  • Today as we finish we will move towards Srinagar after wishing good bye to the trainer and Gulmarg. We will be staying in the Srinagar. As the climate of Gulmarg is pretty unpredictable so we need to secure the flights for the tomorrow as well.
MEAL: BREAKFAST NIGHT STAY: DEPARTURE
  • Today you will wakeup relaxed in the majestic valley of Srinagar. It is the time to take some gifts for the family and the loved ones.
  • You can buy the souvenirs of Kashmir also some of the wood crafted shikaras, jewellery boxes and genuine dry fruits.
  • This trip is about to end with the ever beautiful memories. Wish you a beautiful journey ahead and see you from the Intermediate course in Gulmarg next year.

Booking / Confirmation

  • You are requested to drop us an email or WhatsApp message along with the options you want to opt for so that our consultant can initiate the booking accordingly. Once we receive written confirmation from all the concerned hotels/houseboats/resorts, we will send you an official acknowledgment.
  • Please note until the booking amount reflects in our accounts, all confirmations will be treated as tentative and may lead to booking cancellation if payment is not made on or before the due date provided.

Payment Policy

  • To secure your reservation, you need to make 25% of the total invoice amount as an advance, and the remaining balance is payable 10 days before the date of arrival.
  • If the payment is not received by the due date, the booking may be treated as cancelled.
  • For 4* and 5* properties, the full booking amount must be transferred before confirmations.
  • Cancellation will be strictly followed as per the hotel policies.

The inclusion of Extra Bed with a booking is facilitated with a folding cot, a mattress, or an extra bed.

Check-In / Check-Out time at the hotel is 12:00 Hrs – 13:00 Hrs. Booking confirmation is subject to availability.
All passengers have to report 02 hrs prior to departure due to security checking at Srinagar Airport.
No vehicle is allowed to pick up guests inside the railway station / airport in Jammu; hence our driver will coordinate with you for the same.
No private vehicle is allowed to visit Aru, Chandanwari & Betaab Valley in Pahalgam except local union taxis.
Our cab will remain with you throughout the whole tour. Clients are requested to follow the timings in the program.
In case any services are missed due to delay in departure, the operator will not be responsible for any refunds.
